HOW IT ALL BEGAN

The Full Story

With an interest in technology and art and design, April Amaya developed a passion for photography that couldn't be denied. Her biggest dream was to be a wedding consultant and at a young age In high school years April attended vocational school also known as paths in Portland Maine. She took graphic arts and printing as her major. With a fine teacher named Mr. Nichols ....he really helped April come along way. She was hooked from that point on!!! She Loved that class!!! Between learning about a dark room and taking photos and making her own films using the new technology machinery of lenses and mixed chemicals to make beautiful black and white and colorful images. April was able to create her own images for sure. April was amazed of what she can really do through out this class. This is what made her so interested and she still is today. April is a family oriented person and knows what it is like to build precious memories with her own family!!!! Just as years had passed April began shooting photos of family members, friends and nature and traveling different parts of the world. All though she keep those pics for her keepsake......she would like to share some with you! Over the years April improved her techniques, and is still working on them now and always trying to make better quality images and shoot better photos. But April developed her own personal style. Deciding on a career in photography and so much more this was the easiest and best choice for Pierce Photography & Design has ever made, it's today where she wants to make it happen to make it a huge success!!! When people feel down and out and can't get a photo done with thier loved one that's where April Amaya comes to the rescue! She knows what it's like to not be able to capture the moment and knows the feeling...honestly it's not a good feeling when you want something done........or when you go somewhere and you have nothing but your phone to shoot photos and all of a sudden it dies........you almost want to cry, because you are just not able to capture that moment. Truth is most photography studios don't stay open long enough or just ends up running out of business why? Well let me tell you why partly is because it's either the price is ski high or poor quality.....Over the years, Before starting this business, April was able to learn about quality of photos pricing and quantity and digital diagraming framing and so much more........So here's the facts!!! Pierce Photography and Digital  Design will go out thier way to try to make all ends meet! Rather if it be a better price to a greater location in the future. What ever the case may be. We will assure you we will always be around. We will do our best to keep this business going as well as making our customers satisfied! Thats a win win also that is loyalty. We will try to go out of our way for our customers!!! Now In the near future, We plan on expanding into an industry Eventually!!! I know personally April will take off in her field of photography and designing where she will never look back at her life the same way again.!!! This is all a new beginning for April and the business.
